Default Escort 8500 X50 warranty issues
Has anyone had problems with factory warranties when unit was bought from Ebay? Escort claims they won't do any warranty work except when product is purchased from authorized retailer.

i have an x50..but i purchased it at Best Buy. I have heard the model before it had many warranty issues, mine so far has worked as planed... got it in Nov 2004.
