The coolest radio I ever saw: What is this?
Can anyone tell me what this is?
Its from Jeremy Allgeier (aka Monkey Man) 350z on the following website.

Is it a Sony radio?
Thanks!

From what little I was able to find on google, it seems its a "Japanese" market system.
I found 2 vendors I never heard of:
AudioCubes I and II, and Melting Pot.
I dont really want to buy from a vendor no one can vouch for...also I bet the installation instructions are in Japanese only.
So....I guess Car Toys is out!
Any suggestions?

I have this headunit, and I bought it from www.silviaparts.com .
I bought it back in Sep, 2003, and it seems like they renewed their website so Sony WX-7700MDX is not listed anymore. The one they sell was for Korea/Honkong market and they have same FM radio frequency as US, so it should work in US. (I haven't tried it because I never listen to radio in my car.) I think the price was $695 shipped, but it was a while ago so I'm not sure. (But it was below $700 I'm sure of it.)
Take a look at their website and email him.

I have one question tho.
Since I-POD has been a huge hit in the market, is there a direct adapter that I can hook up to Sony WX7700MDX to play IPOD in my car?
I know about the FM thing but I just want to have better sound quality.
