Default How can I.......

How can I get a system that sound clean inside and loud enough for people to hear outside? The Z the only car I have ever owned that is impossible to get two 12's in without removing the spare. I have to have the spare because I use my Z daily. I have always used my car at parties and get to gethers as a dj booth. People always want me to play music at parties in my car and I like to it just seems impossible to get loud output from the Z without removing the spare. ANYBODY have any IDEAS on how to do this?

my opinion

i dont have my sub in my trunk
i also dont have my spare, amps will sit in there one day

if i ever had a flat, i would rather get it towed then risk death with the piece of crap space saver, i would never drive with that on.. never.... ever.....

just my thoughts

I agree that the spare isn't abosutely necesary. I carry a can of fix-a-flat and would rely on friends if I ever got a bad flat.

12" sub in the trunk is my recommendation

Till this day, I don't understand the facination of people wanting their car stereo to sound good from the outside. Do a search for MIAPLAYA, he has 2 JL12w0 that can be removed. I'd suggest you get an amp/mixer combo w/2 JBL floorstand loudspeakers and call it a day.

You can make a dual 12" sub box for in front of the STB and still have access to you spare ... it is just gonna be hard to make, but I am sure it can be done.

PS, you don't need 2 12s to get that loud. 2 10" IDMAX, XXX or W7s will get you more than there .... you just need to find the airspace

You don't need dual 12's. 1 10" is fine. And why do you care how it sounds on the outside?

Regardless, I know mine sounds good outside because I've been setting at gas stations, windows up & have had people come up to me, knock on the window just to tell me how good it sounds.

If you're refering to hanging out, popping the hatch & blasting the crap out of everyone within 100 ft (or more) then 2 12's will do the trick.

If you're going to lose the spare then I'd go with 1 15" flush to the hatch floor. I saw this on Big-Al's (AudioMoble) Z and it looks awesome. I haven't heard it yet but I've been told it could blow your ear drums from 50 feet!
