Here is the pic of my disable button. I ended up putting it back just a bit so it's easier to hit in a hurry.

The cops AIM THEIR LASER GUNS at either our front licence plate or headlights. It is critical to mount your laser jammers near these locations. The proper aiming of a jammer will make the difference between the cop getting a reading OR NOT.

My system has warned me about a laser threat at least 20 times in the past year I've owned it. It has saved my azz many times.

I have received only one ticket (speeding) where I could not slow down fast enough. I was not paying attention and had my stereo turned up too loud and didn't hear the warning.

This sytem has enabled me to enjoy the -Z- much more than when I did not have it. This car is so powerful, it can get you in trouble without even trying.

It should be standard equipment on all Z's !
Is the SRX like a X50 and ZR3 combine? when you add the price of the x50 and zr3, they're the same price as the SRX. how good is the radar on the srx?

I was thinking of going with the SRX or the X50 w/Zr3, which one is the better way, easier to install. and effectiveness.

the srx is basiclly a combination of the sr7 radar dection kit and the zr3 laser shifter kit. i have never used the radar on a srx but im sure its crazy good. because it has one dector in the rear and anther in the front. plus the srx is escorts top model.

My detector/jammer has a speaker box that anounces what type of laser it is (in addition to the readout). The Escort engineers evidently made the "LASER ALERT" warning much louder and urgent sounding than "K-BAND" or "X-BAND" warnings. I swear that (if you have the volume turned up) it almost forces you to instinctively hit the brakes. (Almost too suddenly).

Well, at lunch yesterday the Georgia State Patrol shot me with a Laser. I was going about 85 in an area where the speed limit drops from 70 to 65. (most traffic was)

My warnings went off, I hit the brakes, and I'm pretty sure the laser gun could not get a reading. Since my exit was coming up, I was able to exit and watch the trooper pull over a Ford Excursion. That vehicle would provide a huge target area. The Excursion was not far behind me.

Question: Are there radar or laser absorbing materials (like a bra) that would make the -Z- even more stealth like?

a bar will lower your laser signature. a good bit. a little thing called laserveil cuts down on the reflection of lite in the 904 wave length. http://laserveil.com/ some people said it was a scame but its been tested. you apply it to your head lights and front licencee plate

I have to chime in here, since I installed both.

I would say the zr3 for integration, but the blinder extreme for performance. Both have disable buttons. Order the tests from speedlabs for more info.

Interesting Link of the day

- only an opinion.

Has anyone installed a Laser Jammer in a 350Z yet? I'm wondering where they would place the elements. I suspect the opening in the bumper but not sure...
