Default Amp Sub Combo

Aright so i dont wanna spend more than $1000 on the sub/amp combo. What do you guys recommend. Heres what i need:

I listen to all types of music from Hiphop to rock
im all about clean precise bass
wanna fit the box under the rear strut

i had a jl 10w0 in my prelude before hooked up to a rockford amp and i liked because it was madd clean but i want somehting with a little more "thump" to it this time around.

I heard a lot about Adire Brahma Subs and Hifonics Amps...Any suggestions/comments on what to get and sizing

Thanks guys

The 10 goes for under 400 bucks

Adire will not begin making the brahmas until next fall. The RE sub is built around the same frame and technology as the Adire subs. The XXX is a little bit more SPL intended. Which is not to say the XXX is not clean.

Ive had a JL Audio 10w3 and a Rockford Fosgate Punch 200 amp for a few years but just put the sub in an under strut bar box. It sounds really clean and hits very hard when you want it too. I basically spent about $600 for everything.

I have the bose system in the car currently do you think if i get a sub like rhe RE XXX or something similar it will over power the stock system. I still want to be able to hear the lyrics etc!

Also the boxes on ebay are they deep enough to fit the XXX? ids there a specific box i should be looking for?

Thanks again

That I am not sure of, however RE does make other subs that I am sure will fit. You will have to call RE as they dont have the mounting depth posted anywhere that I can find.
