has anyone put this setup into there non-Bose OEM factory Radio so that the Apple iPod can hook up directly....?

I use the same piece for my 03 BOSE system for XM and works fine. Should work like a champ for an IPOD.

how's the sound quality of this converter? I was really contemplating the icruze thing from monster, but that costs around 400 bux.
