Help me add a sub to my stock Track's stereo!
I have an '03 Track model, bone stock (just picked it up used) and NEED some bass bad. I've never been a big car audio guy, so am not looking for anything fancy, space consuming or expensive; I just want to add a bit of bass to the stock system and maybe I'll upgrade the rest of the speakers later. I would like to simply utilize the stock Bose sub location behind the driver's seat. I would also like to do the install myself, if possible, to save money. Here's what I need to know (yes I have searched, but haven't found the info. I'm looking for):
1. what sub and amp should I get?
2. how do I connect it to the stock system (ie. where do I get the signal)?
3. do I need to seal the stock enclosure? Do they make a box for this?
4. where do I put the amp?
5. what else do I need to know?
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm in the same boat and am getting a Basslink soon. It's the easiest and cheapest solution for adding some bass to the stock stereo. If you don't know anything about it, it's a slim 10" sub with a built-in amp and it fits perfectly in the Bose sub location. I think they retail for like $299 or so but you can find deals.
