Do an in dash LCD Screen with DVD/MP3/CD Receiver exist that does not have a separate brain unit? I looked and can't find not one. They all seem to have a separate brain unit. I'm surprised a company hasn't made one where all the connections are on the in dash unit itself.

 

alpine, kenwood, pioneer, eclipse, etc. most of brands have it in all-in-one unit. no seperate brain.

i have eclipse avn5435 and it even has nav in one unit.

Why don't you want one with a brain? They're not that big, and are actually very convenient. You can add more components without removing the HU from the dash. IMO they are easier to install also.

Clarion VRX755VD. I DIN in-dash 7" touch screen monitor with AM/FM/CD/MP3/DVD playback. It is a single unit with no external unit. It also has built-in iPod control, with touch screen control of the iPod.
