I'm seriously considering buying an Infinity Basslink unit for my Z (non-bose) just to add a little low-end kick and I am a complete audio newbie. I already did my own HU, speakers, and tweeters using a helpful how-to from this forum.

Can anyone tell me if there's anything I need to do beside run RCA cables from the HU and a power cable from the battery to the Basslink? I'm probably missing a lot here and any help would be appreciated.

Also, where' the best place to run the power cable through the firewall?
