Question for you guys a friend of mine is do his system in a rsx as of right now he has a 12" JL W7 he will be powering it with the JL Audio 1000/1 amp what components would you guys recommend to use with this setup....I think he will be using the JL Amp 300/2 to power the front components, money isnt really a concern but reasonable not more than $600.

I know it going to hit HARD so I wasn't sure what he should go with.....I was going to recommend the DA Hex's like I have but not sure if that will be a good match with the 12" W7

 

should he go with a ported box or a sealed box for the W7?

 

Sealed box for the W7 ... if he wants any semblance of SQ + leftover trunk space

How much does he want to spend on components?

he's looking to spend around $600....do you think it would be best going with a 3-way set of components?

 

I suggest some Seas Lotus, CDT Eurosports, or some Focals.

Seas' The Reference is pretty much the best I have ever heard, but that's a lil out of the price range.
