The bass is pretty good, and yes, they are free air subs.

I have the amp under the passenger seat. I know I have been buying stuff and storing it in the garage. So now I'm going to put some effort in hooking up the Z. I'm going to try to get the rims on this weekend.

 

Do you get a rattle from this setup or not enought bass? My audio shop told me it would sound like crap if I put a sub inside the factory sub spot. Did you build a box inside of the space or just leave it wide open?

 

You have to use free air subs and dynamat the hell out of the inside of the sub compartments.
