You should look at the new antenna from Antenna Specialist. It's 5mm in height. That's what I have, mounted on the side of the rear strut bar. You hardly ever notice it. Check one of my earlier posts, and call crutchfield. They sell it, but don't have it on their website yet.

 

Everything looks pretty cool, but that dash kit leaves a lot to be desired IMO. I'd try to get ahold of the Metra Kit if I were you.

 

I am not sold on the dask kit either but the picture didn't turn out very well. It looks much better in real life. You hardly notice it in person.
