Default LCD in stock NAV slot. (2003 350z)

I am looking to put a LCD in the stock NAV spot (since i do not have nav.) I have read that the farenheit 7001 is a perfect fit. I am wondering what LCD every one recomends, I would like to have touch screen if possible. Also is there any how to's on installing the LCD? I read about people using tape but that you have to take the LCD out of the case? Plz link me if i did not do a good job searching for one. Thanks for any help in advance

EDIT: also any links to good deals would be greatly apreciated!

The Farenheight and also the Xenarc should work fine. In both scenarios the LCD definitely has to come out of the case. I haven't seen a how-to in terms of doing installing, but it takes a bit of creativity..I'll try and post pics of mine at some point. We used foam strips that allows the screen to stay in place.

I just put in a Lilliput screen in the stock Nav of an 03. Left it in its case (for mount support), however it took some creative dremeling to remove about 1/8th inch off each side of the lcd case... as well as having to remove the buttons at the bottom (in the process of relocating those control buttons now).

Definately takes a bit of work if you want a quality job, it's not as simple as sticking it up there.

Thanks guys! Some pics would be awesome! I want to do this MOD but I am just worried I'll screw up the LCD when pulling it out. Did you use double sided tape along with the foam strips to mount it? Thanks in advance!
