I was thinking I should be able to hook-up a computer LCD to my x-box in the car right???

I have a power inverter already. What stops me form doing this?

 

I did mine a lil different. I purchased the Soundstream 7" DVD touchscreen. Then I had my PS2 wired into my glove box. Then i connect the power inverter and the sound is FM modulated from the DVD system. I don't know if you can just add some kind of connector to a screen and plug it into your XBOX.

 

No. Sorry I wasn't clear.

I already have 3 lcds. I want to add a 13-20" tv. The sharps (reg tvs) and viewsonic, Etc, (comp. monitors) are WAY cheaper than the lcds designed for ur car.

I just need to know if there is something I am missing?

Will this be fixed or just dropped in for like a 1 time type of deal. If you just want to drop it in and have it hooked up and not customized you should be fine. But if you are planning to custom mount it you may need something else.

I plan a custom mount. What issues will I face? What will I need?

I plan to mount it to the bottom of the hatch and have it fold down when open.
