Amp/Sub suggestions
I've been throwing around the idea of putting a sub in my Z for a while now, but I haven't messed with stereos for a while so I am not really sure what is good anymore. I want to put the sub and the amp inside the factory position behind the driver's seat and make it look totally factory. I'm not looking for really pounding bass, just something to fill in the bottom end a bit and I want the sound to be as clean as possible. I was thinking about going with an Infiniti Kappa Perfect 10" sub, and I am not sure which amp to go with. I have a friend who uses Kicker amps and they sound really good, but what are some other alternatives?
I haven't pulled the cover off the sub enclosure yet, but how big is it? Should it be dynamatted or should some kind of enclosure inside of the factory position be constructed for best sound?

Best amp for you is the Alpine 450 5 channel amp. Will power your four speakers, etc. and has a dedicated portion for the sub. The v12 series is black and brushed aluminum - fits beautifully in front of rear cross member. Doesn't take up much space - looks like it's factory equipment. Find it at etronics.com or look at eBay

Rockford Fosgate spray Blue noise killer (3 cans) and a custom 3/4" MDF enclosure are what's needed. Fits in very easily - not an expensive install. Otherwise you are just pushing air and the bass will be very muddy and not go below 80HZ
