Yeah, seriously. The people buying these are mostly enthusiasts so I don't get why he's doing what he is. Either he's super busy building the boxes or he's just disorganized. Either way, he's a bad business man.

That mutherf#*#er did the same thing to me. After over 2 weeks of no reply, nothing, I get an email from him today saying the box was returned because the address couldnt be verified. Of course he had the first letter of my address wrong and the last digit of my zip code wrong. What a jackass!! I'm filing a claim today. This has got to stop.

Ok I just sent a very threatening email to this guy. If he does not ship my box by tomorrow I'll file a claim and then call this guy every hour on the hour after midnight till a fedex truck delivers my box.

i have to agree with you guys, it is bad for business to egnore your customers like that. I mean if he was busy or had way to many orders he, should have let the customers know that there is a delay in shipment because of a back order. This is one reason why im not making my style box for you guys. I dont have the time. Anyways, he should read the Z forums once in awhile, to get feed back, comments and such.

that's y i ordered from him, but it seems to not hold true. also, he lies to everyone. he has told all 3 of us (that i know of) the exact same thing:
the box got shipped back to him cuz he messed upt he last digit of the zip (which is not true since they'll still ship it)
he has emailed us 3 times with the tracking number with no reply (also not true bc the package wasnt shipped until the 5th, and i got the email on the 6th)

He sends via USPS Parcel Post which is basically like UPS Ground. It can take a week or more to arrive. Don't count on FedEx. His shipping costs were spot on though.

Oh, and on a side note....a 2005 Alpine Type-R 10" barely fits. I had to take the saw and sandpaper out and after 2 hours was FINALLY able to get it in last night. It won't fit with the logo straight (horizontal)...there was only one position it would work because of the connectors and sub design. The logo is mostly vertical and pointing between 12 and 1 o'clock. I'll settle for now since I prefer the sound over the look, but damn Alpine for improving their product this year!

lol...he does say how big the hole is and what diameter is needed for specific models, so im expecting some sanding. as for fit...i think my jl 10w3 should go in the right way no problem.

I know. The specs on the SWR-1042D weren't listed on his chart tho.
When you see that you have a 9" hole and need 9 1/8" of clearance....it's not as easy as just sanding for a few minutes. 1/8" doesn't sound like much, but it was a pain in the azz because the terminals stick out a lot and the top and bottom of the box angles in. So for me I had to get the saw out to slightly square-out the corners of the bottom of the hole.
