yes quite loud.... with the windows up and the bass turned up, you can feel the air moving back and forth when the bass hits.

New guy here... I just picked up an 05 yesterday and the first thing I was looking to upgrade was the bass. Are those 10s open air, or is there a complete box there?

If it's open air -- what's the model of the subs? As I'll be buying a pair tomorrow. If it's a box -- was it custom or, if not, where did you purchase it?

Do you notice any power draw? Should I install one of my spare 1 farad caps?

Thanks!

Looks clean!!! I'm assuming your spare is gone? Also, is that the JL box? I would install a small led to light up the plexi.

bhk1004... Off topic...I saw your sig and it looks like your spraying. Where did you put the bottle? I'm thinking of going with the n2o but no place to put the bottle.

350Mark.
my bottle at the moment isnt in anymore... just that the lines are under the box. I will probably only use it when im at the drag strip and its fairly easy for me to just completely take out my system and have a empty trunk and I just set it up then. Planning on getting rid of the NOS and moving onto a Turbo. Lemme know if your interested. I may sell my setup. Also no, this isnt the JL box... i think the whole JL audio setup thingy is kinda way over priced... oh and I have 2 led lights that I was planning on using but they are so weak that it isnt funny... so I am goign to end up putting in 2 neons in the amp rack and maybe 1 neon near the subs.

No those arent open air subs. They are RF he2. Not exactly the most amazing subs but they are able to handle the power and can do what they need to do. The box is made by a company in florida and they sell it shipped for 180 dollars. It sits directly behind your strut bar and kinda blends in nicely. I have no complaints about the box except that I wish that it had 2 imputs fors the subs, but it only has one on the left hand side. Sounds great and at 1.5 ft of space it seems like it would be perfect for 2 10z if thats what you are looking to use.
