Default CDT HD62 and fitment

Anyone with experience in replacing stock with these? Will they fit without modding the door panel?

I have installed the CDT HD62's in mine. Went in VERY Easy.

You can mount the crossover next to the speaker, as there is room between the door frame and the door skin.

The 6.5 will need a little bit of a spacer, just use the grill holders that come with the speakers as a spacer.

The Tweeters go in the stock spot perfectly.

I also did the CDT coaxials in the rear and I couldnt be happier. I used
a RF 150w 2 Channel amp on all 4 speakers (2ohms per channel, L/R) and
a RF 150w 1 Channel amp on my MB Quart Reference 10 in the stock location.
