If I plug in the RCA's from my new head-unit (Kenwood KDC-x789), the basslink doesn't come on. If I plug in the speaker level input I had been using, it does.
Anybody know how I can get it to come on without using the speaker level inputs. I'm want to run the line from the HU to the sub but am not sure exactly which one to run to it. These are the two that are left:
P.CONT - Power Control wire (blue/white) - When using the optional power amplifier, connect to it's power control terminal.
EXT.AMP.CONT - External amplifier control wire (pink/black) - terminal of the amplifier having the external amp control function.
Thanks,

When you had speaker level inputs i'm guessing you had it set to auto-on. You need to run a turnon wire to the head unit or to the cigarette lighter so it knows when to turn on and off. You can't use auto on with line level inputs
