Default Radio Reception Fix

I recently installed a pioneer headunit in my car and im getting really bad radio reception. I read through some of the posts and found this thread:

https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ight=reception

i think it basicalyl says that i need to wire the power antenna lead from my metra harness to the amp remote turn on lead on the headunit. But im using the remote turn on lead from the headunit to run to my amp. So is there another wire i can connect from the headunit to the antenna power wire on the metra harness?

heres a wiring diagram of my headunit:

thanks

Piece of cake.

Connect the wire to the yellow power cable - the ignition controlled power. When ever the key is in the slot the antenna's amplifier will get power.

i have the yellow wire crimped to the switched power wire from the original headunit wiring. is it safe to add the antenna remote wire to this also and crimp all three together?

thanks again
