well previously, the car simply wouldnt "respond" to the pager, it got the signal, carried it out, but never gave a confirmation beep to the pager.

I didnt really worry about it, it was a concern, but not an issue.

well today after 4 hours on the top deck of a parking garage on one of the hottest days of the year in georgia, black Z...

it didnt do anything! it would not unlock the doors, it set off the alarm when I manually unlocked them, and engaged the immobilizer. I had to sit there while the car air'd out with the alarm blaring untill finally it decided it could recieve the signal.

anyone else had this issue with the compustar alarm?

Im emailing compustar and calling the installer anyway, just curious. cuase I cant think of what theyd do about it just getting too hot...

I was already not so thrilled with the range of the supposedly quarter mile FM signal. they sold me Spread spectrum was overkill and wouldnt peirce walls well anyway. so instead I have 100feet on a clear day.
