Defeating Laser (speed traps)
Well if your concerned about the ultralyte, almost all jammers on the market have very little effect on it
for the escort ZR3, here were the results of testing with an Ultralyte:
Escort Shifter ZR3 - Retail
All three modules were mounted to front of vehicle.
Gun Aim Feet
LTI Ultralyte LR Plate 991
LTI Ultralyte LR Plate 73
LTI Ultralyte LR Plate JTG
LTI Ultralyte LR Headlight 646
LTI Ultralyte LR Headlight 1093
LTI Ultralyte LR Headlight 1130
Officers are trained to operate the laser at approx. 750 feet, they are instructed to aim at the either the front plate or the headlight, so basically if the officer can't get a reading from one, he'll go to the other
The ZR3 is a good system, it's just sorta becoming outdated to the newer guns coming on the market(ie. LTI Ultralyte, Stalker LZ-1)

I have a black car, and no front license plate... And cop shot me from 1032 ft. Hand held. Those tests show much less than 1000ft for handheld. I only need 3 or 4 seconds warning to slowdown. I need to know I'm being targeted before cop gets a reading. That's all I'm asking.
in those tests, the vehicles were targeted at ~1500-1600 feet, then those #'s were the punchthrough of the unit, so if your worried about 1000ft+, then you may want to look into a Laser diode based jammer, as LED based jammers have very little effect over 1000ft, you may also want to look into Veil stealth coating, that along with an LED jammer, should take care of both long range and short range shots
