Wicked Door Speaker Pods Ready New!

Ok, ive been searching for a while for...simply...some 6.5" nice looking grills so that I can make my front and rear speaker grills consistant. I have the CDT grills on the front and the alpine grills on the back. (I had to majorly modify the cdt grills to get them to fit too.) Nazar do you cats have any nice grills up there? Sort of like the Alpine grills (I like the shape, the color matches our interior and they fit swimmingly in the pods. which are fantastic btw.)
the only problem with the alpine grills is, I cant find extra ones anywhere, and they say "alpine" on the bottom. So screwing them in over my CDT speakers will look weird.
If ya got em, show me some pics and I will gladly purchase 4.
thx in advance.

I called the dealer and they looked in "a book" and it indicates no interior changes at all between 06 and 07. He had a 06 and 07 side by side and could not distinguish any difference. On that basis, I will order the pods.

Got my pods today. They don't appear to fit at all, but maybe I am confused. Is there an "installation" thread because it appears like I would have to remove a LOT of material to get them to flush over the cup holders. A lot.
2007 350Z Grand Touring Coupe.
Edit: Looked at the Wicked CAS website and my pods look like 03-05 and not 06+. Nazar, did I mess up the order and get the wrong pods?

Yes, yes I did. Should have looked before I started typing since now everyone can see just how my order-fu sucks... I'll get in touch with you, Nazar, by email. Sigh.

Hi!
I'm really, really interested in getting a pair of these. The stock mount is absolutely awful no matter how you try to work with it.
I have some questions though first. Anyone who has these in their Z please feel free to put your input in, I want it!
First, I'm going to be running a bit more bassy speaker in the door, I have a pair of CDT ES06's to put in there. Since these are mounted only to the door panel itself, and not the door, will the door panel vibrate too much or otherwise screw up the sound of the pods? The way they decided to attach the door panel to the door in this car pretty much sucks, so I'm worried I'm going to get all kinds of vibrations, resonance, leaking, etc. The bottom of the door panel doesn't really even seal against the door. I'd imagine there would be a pretty bad amount of leakage here, no?
Secondly, going with the first question; do those of you who have the pods installed find that your doors rattle around more or become loose over time? The last thing I need is to have my door handle fall off or my window switch to pop out while I'm rocking out on the highway.
Also, do you seal the stock speaker mounting hole with these and somehow put some damping material in the door?
It just seems like we're mounting a well designed piece of audio equipment to a flimsy piece of plastic... I have a hard time believing that this is the best way to do it.
Thanks.

How did you dampen yours? Did you seal off the factory mounting hole?
