I recently received your door pods as part of a stereo purchase from one of our fellow members. I have 6.5" Dynaudio woofers for the pods. In my intial test fit the speakers fit fine but the speaker grill won't fit; it's to big. How can I make the grills fit?? If not what grills can I use?? Your help is greatly appreciated. Don't mean to hijack the thread.

 

A couple things can be done.. You could possible take away from the edge of the grilles by sending them down a little... Or sending down the pods a little... We have fit up to 7" Grilles in there like Focals. Focal grilles we usualy run through the router to take of the edge when we use vinyled pods.

the door pods, will they work with vertical doors ?

 

Mine arrived yesterday...............Very good quality for the price. I bought my vinyl to cover them today. i also have FOCAL Polyglass 165V1's to go in them......can't wait to put them in!

 

They will not work with the GT Factory doors... I do not know if they will work with any other conversions...

Vertical door kit I believe might work, Since you are opening the door quite a bit before lifting it up.
