Where can i put my Valantine 1 ?
I am soon getting a valantine one radar\laser detector, but i noticed the outlet is in the back by the glove box. I really dont want that chord stretching out across the z interior. Any advice or tricks i can do here ?

Hardwire it.
There are lots of posts here that suggest routing.
I ran my cord into the sleeve for the rearview mirror, across the front of the headliner, down the column seam and into the lower left spaces near the fuse box. (As I said, there are lots of post here with much better detail (and pics) than my simple description)
I used the Valentine 'hardwired kit' to connect to fuse box. I put spade connectors on both the power and ground conductors. I trimmed the power conductors spade connector to be about the size of a 15-amp fuse, and inserted it into space in the fuse box directly next to the aux power (lighter) fuse. I then connected the ground spade into the area between the mounting bracket used for the fuse box, and the fuse box.
This resulted in independent wiring for the V1, without piggybacking on another circuit.
If I want to remove the V1 in the future, the disassembly will be extremely easy.
Have fun!
