I dont listen to my music that loud, but the stereo in the 350z is pretty bad. I'm thinking of upgrading the speakers to get better sound.

I prefer cheap but good quality, what would you recommend for under around 75 or under?

for the base (not bose) stereo i did the cheap speaker upgrade with 4 sony x-plods 220watt speakers - fit in all spots and look stock (didn't use their butt ugly speaker covers)
63$/pair at circuit city - [ check www.crutchfield.com for good prices on other brands]
much better sound but still a cheap stock stereo :-(
got the ipod wired into the remote cd player port
***Caution*** need to use some spacers on the front door speakers to move them out of the way of the window travel path (will nick the inside of the window with the magnet (luckily can't see it though)

btw - side note - with the base stereo you can then make another cubby hole behind the drivers seat - pop the plastic cap / unscrew all the bolts for the empty woofer bracket and line it with cheap carpet -/ cheap plastic **** from home depot at top to open / small metal dowel at bottom to holes at side for hinge
i keep my autocross helmet / supplies there - or perhaps a small child could ride there if you drilled air holes
