yep, you use as manner splitters as you need to get the number of rca outputs that you need.

PoormanQ45--don't you post at the12volt.com? I remember seeing your posts over there. You have a Z too?

In response to the question at hand, you can also use pre-amp outputs if the amps have them.

Some amps are daisy-chainable(have rca outputs). Bascially that allows you to run one set of rca's to the amp rack.

Edit:
Sounds like your putting together a pretty serious bass setup.
What kind of line voltage does the headunit put out? If your amps don't have rca outs...and/or your h/u line voltage is less than 4volts rms...I'd considering running a line-driver. Phoenix Gold's PLD or Audio Control's Overdrive are nice line drivers. Probably some other brands are available but I've used these two with good results. The overdrive will give you a little more voltage than the PG so I'd go with it They run around $100 or so.

Line-drivers were very common back years ago before high voltage h/u's were common(cheap) and are still useful today when your install requires "watering down" of the line signal by splitters, etc. Plus most "high- voltage" h/u's don't put out near the advertised voltage as rms.

If you do use one...be sure to mount it behind the h/u and run as short rca cable as possible to it.

Tx,

After looking at your sig...I take it your still running the bose h/u.

If so, i assume your running line coverter. If your running the bose h/u and will be trying to feed 3 or more amps off it...i'd really consider a line driver. Mount it as close to the converter as possible.

Note: I've never run a line driver with a line converter in front of it so I don't exactly know how it will react as far as line noise though. I'd say if your not noticing any line noise now...you'd probably be ok.

why not use one amp and series-parallel combo the sub wiring. Cheaper, and you can probably get more out of your amp with a lower load from the subs.

just a thought...

If you are using 3 amps with 3 subs, make sure your subs are in seperate enclosures.

all I am going to suggest is that you change the amp/sub combo. Please give me a budget to work with on replacing that and we can spec you out something ALOT better than that part. I am not a fan of earthquake, but for the money they will do just fine for the components.
