Default Front speaker spacer...

I can't find anywhere that has the 1" spacer i need to make my front 6.5"s fit. Also, is there even a wiring harness made for our front speakers or am I going to have to just cut the wires and plug then straight into the speakers? Any ideas? All help is appreciated!

Crutchfield sells the speaker wire adapters I think. I just cut mine off and soldiered the wires directly to the terminals - those things aren't shaking off. You can use crimp-on connectors available from Radio Shack. My speakers had standard 1/4" for the postitive terminal but a 3/16th" size for the negative terminal which I couldn't find in my pile-o-stuff.

I don't ever see putting the stock speakers back into the car if I sell it. Worse case I'll pull my high-end speakers and put some el-cheapo ones in their place.

I looked for about two weeks a couple of months ago and couldn't find a thing. The closest I came was the harness for the rears which I didn't need. I just cut mine and had a nice bare wire to feed to my crossovers ;-)
If it needs to return to stock I can solder or cimp the connectors back on and it won't be the end of the world. If you keep looking, good luck.

Thanks guys...I think that's what I'm going to end up doing is just cutting mine as well and soldering the new connectors. Thanks for your help.
