I have the bose system in my 04 touring, I am replacing the head unit with a Kenwood DDX8017. I wired it up using a wire harness made for a 350z. but I get no sound. does anyone know if their is a factory amp turn on wire I need to connect? Thanks for any help

 

Heck sorry I mis-read what you're trying to do. You want to feed your Kenwood into the factory amplifier? Let me check the manual real quick for you.

 

OK found it.

The wire is a green wire with a yellow stripe coming out of the wiring harness for the audio unit (head end). It runs to the Bose speaker amplifier in the trunk.



From that amplifier it runs back forward to the Bose subwoofer amplifier.
