SAT antenna placement and SAT install
wassup... i need some opinons on where to place the Serius antenna. i just bought the eclipse AVN5435 and the serius tuner will be installing early next week
i was wondering in ne 1 had installed the SAt tuner eithe rto their eclipse or another HU that uses a SAt interface.
where did u place the actual tuner?
where did u place the antenna,? i dont want it to look like ****. and i absolutly love the body lines on my SB ZR and dont wanna ruin it...

No you can't use a stock antenna... you need the satellite antenna. JLIMQUEST's placement is probably best. It depends on where you live and if they have terrestrial antennas or not. If so, you may be able to place it inside.. otherwise, it should go on the roof.

Both, my GPS and Sat antenna's are on that small flat strip in the middle of the dash. I have the Pioneer systems and both antennas are very small.
I get a little "cut out" on the SAT radio from time to time but I much prefer the stealth over having something stuck to my roof.

I hid my Sirius tuner for my ddx-7015 behind the panel behind the drivers seat, theres alot of room back there.
