Default JL Stealthbox Carpet Color

I've been told the JL Stealthbox is only sold with black carpet on the enclosure. This is going to look awful with my tan interior. Anyone have ideas for replacing the carpet on the SB....or possibly replacing the trunk mat carpet?

I would strip off the carpet sand the fiberglass down... and paint with SEM paint that matches your interior... It would look cleaner.

you should just be able to go to any good upholstry shop and get a good match for the carpet for around $25.00 and then just strip off the black.

The box is already in and the black carpet looks decent considering there are other black trim pieces in the car. I may take some pictures and photochop it to see if it would look better or worse in tan/beige.

The guys who installed the SB said that the carpet's on pretty good so I'm concerned about doing damage to the material underneath it.
