Need help.... need to make a decision
Today I went to the car-audio shop. The guy recommended me this setup:
- HU: Pioneer DEH P8MP
- MTX 5500 SERIES 10" sub
- MTX 3401 400WATT amp
- MTX TXC 6.1 6.5 Components /I will be going with just the front speakers
The total price (labor, parts) will run me about $1400. I will just have to buy the ZEnlosure by Mike.
What do you think about this setup? I was thinking going with some other company then MTX - but the guy said if I am not happy he will let it go for free
I would really appreciate your opinions.

They dont have a display setup for the different type systems were you are getting the stuff from? You might want to find a place, like Circuit City, Good Guys, ect. that has a sound room. Down the road you may feel like it just doesnt sound just right. Me i went thro 3 different type Subs, before i was Happy with the Alpine Type-R and it sounds way better then the others i had, witch were also alpine. Listening to them will help before you buy them.

what about the MTX itself? I always thouht it is a rather low-end company. But the guy keept saying that their new series are very good.
The retail for those parts is 1200.
