Default question about box design for you audio pros

I am trying to figure out a sub box design for my 350. I will be using 2 11" focals subs. Each requires a minimum of 1.1 cu ft. I can make a box with 2 sealed chambers of 1.1 each but the box won't fit under the strut area. Will there be a problem of using both subs in 1 sealed chamber of about 2 cu ft. I really want to be able to fine tune the sub, probably will use xtant parametric eq or audiocontrol. I know that home audio sound is almost impossible in a car but I would like to get as close as possible to it.

thanks

You can use the subs in a sealed enclosure with a common airspace. It will not affect the performance of the subs. Make sure that the box is well sealed, and at least lined with polyfill to reduce standing waves inside the box.

the problem is one wall of the box will be plexi..... so I don't want to use polyfill. do you think using no fill will be ok. The box will be fiberglass and gel coated

I have built boxes with and without fill. You will be OK with the box you are planning to build without the fiberfill...

From what i understand, All focal subs are suggested in a vented enclosure only. I don't know how they would perform in a sealed enviroment.
