AFAIK, those mirrors are universal installs. A good custom shop can integrate a similar V1 display into any stock OEM mirror, but not worth the cost, IMO.

A guy on this site was doing this, I forgot the cost, something like $300 I believe but not sure though.

That would be plus the V1's cost. I seem to remember closer to $700.

I had the link and really considered buyign this for my V1. I thoguht it through however and decided against it. Mainly because if the radar detector is hidden I really cant see it picking up single as good as if it were moutned high up visible....

So the cost of hiding the display is really not worth it IMO

I was going to do the mirror thing also, but it is a big hassle, so I mounted the V1 in the stealth area behind the passager seat and mounted the remote viewer on top of the mirror on the right side. you can't see it from out side the car and it is just as visable as having it it the mirror. the V1 rocks, it has saved me several times over the last 7 months.
