for those of you who have hooked up just a plain old screen in the navi box with a stock head unit and wired a dvd player or ps2 how do you get the sound to come out of the speakers.

 

If your headend has an "AUX IN" then that would be it...

 

i have tried that setup on my 04 honda accord.. and i wasnt really liking my sound quality.. basically a screen with no audio output to my stock headunit.. i had so much static/etc i was gettin really annoyed....then i got new pioneer speakers and a amp, so i can get better sound, but not much of a difference... you can basically get a fm modulator and connect it, so you can get sound through your stock speakers... or get something like the soundgate? that gives u AUX-IN from your screen to your stock headunit if you dont have the AUX-IN option... hope this helps
