Question Nazar Box Sub Protection

I recently had the Nazar under-strut W7 box installed. Now I am too scared to put anything in the hatch. I have not been able to find a grill for the 10W7. I have some extra black box carpet and was going to fabricate a cover that I can velcro when needed for protection and security (but lose the bass.) Does anyone have any other ideas?

Will this work? Would I have to drill holes in the box (I soooo don't want to?)
I have read on an autosound forum that a 10w7 will clear without interference.

Go back to where you got your W7 and have them order you the JL Grill for it. It just slips on and it stays in place. here is a pic of mine.

I know they make grills for the w6 like you have but have not seen a JL one for the w7. The travel would be too far to fit a standard grill like yours I think.

They make it for the W7 also. I work part time for a stereo shop. Do you honestly think the travel is much more between a 7 and a 6? It is not.

doesn't it only travel six inches rather than seven per the name? just joking. I called Soundadvice which is my local JL dealer and they told me "they don't make a grill for the w7 because people who spend that much on a sub don't want to hide it." I said: "wouldn't people who spend that much on a sub want to protect it?

Nazar, If you are listening...shoot me a PM if you got it
