Default Satellite Receiver install question

I will be installing the Pioneer AVIC-D1 and the GEX-P10XMT satellite radio receiver next weekend and I was hoping to place the radio receiver under the passenger seat. How should I go about mounting that unit? Can I drill a hole through the floor, or is it possible to use something like Velcro to attach the thing? Also, I did a number of searches and could not find any walkthrough for how to remove the interior plastic pieces behind the seats and on and around the rear brace. Can anyone help?

i have the sirius satelite radio hooked up to my alpine d310. i ran the unit into the glove box behind the passenger seat. there is an opening in there where you can sit the unit and never see it. worked great for me. as for the center piece... you will need to remove the shift **** by twisting it off. then grab the shift boot area which is connected to the center console. pull on it and it will loosen up. slide that piece over the shifter and disconnect the a/c controls. after that you will see to screws connecting the center console to the dash. take them out. then remove the ash tray and there will be a screw there. remove that also. after that, move the seats up and there are two screws on the side of the console. remove them two. after they are removed you can lift the console and disconnect the heated seats (if you have them.) once this is down you should be able to run the wires into the glove box.

hopefully this helps!

I recently installed a Sirius Pioneer module (SIR-PNR1) under the passenger seat .. I just used some velcro to stick it to the carpet and it seems to work fine..
