Default Looking at getting 30 Band Graphic Equalizer

Im looking at adding this Equalizer Model: SY30EQ into my Alpine system, between my head unit and amps for more control over the fq.

http://www.maaudio.com/productcatalog.cfm?class=47477

And adding a High-Performance Bass Driver with Remote Audiobahn ABD39T

http://www.thecarstereo.com/product/...duct=EQEA02151

Any thoughts?

I bought a used PG 15/15 EQ line driver (215i) and it really allowed fine tuning to the interior. I would say go for it, except for the fact you are running V12 amps which have a high range input of only 4V no?

Yeap the V12 amps do have a high 4V input witch works nicely with my headunit. Ill have to see what the output range is on it before i order one. With the MA audio one im thinking about installing it were the bose sub cover panel is, Ill have to cut it out and flush mount it there.

Cool. I thought about doing that with the PG, but ended up getting rid of it because one of the RCA connectors got jacked up. It was really nice though being able to control and monitor the input level to the amp. PG had neat Green/yellow/red indicators that would show the level from .2V to 8V. How clean it sounded pumped up to 6V or so avergae into a soundstream amp. One thing that surprised me was how low the output was from the Kenwood deck I had, it was listed at 5V output..yeah right! Maybe MAX, but the avergae was more like 1 or 2V.

I called Alpine once about their amps and was told they will accept 5V output head units..probably because the 5V out manufacturers lie so much.

Ok, hears what i got on friday evening. When i went down to to see if they got the EQS instock, they didnt. But i remembered they had the Alpine PXA-H701 Multimedia manager and display unit. This is alot better then the EQS. The PXA-H701 has 30-band Eq. Spectrum Anylizer plus i got the Epicenter Concert Series bass restoration unit.
I got it all mounted this weekend, but didnt have time to tune it yet.
