Default big bass w/o a sub

Is there such a combination. I am thinking two very high end sets of speakers for front and rear and an amp. How much bass can you get out of a set of focals or MB quartz.

I just don't want to have subs if I don't have to

Thanks
Jeremy

I can honestly say that I was surprised with the MB Quarts I just installed. Good bass, however, nothing beats a sub. I don't know if you want to rattle windows, etc, but if you just want a quality sounding full range set of speakers Focal or MB Quart are great.

i have the MB quartz in both the fronts and rears with an amp... with the rears use a crossover to hit the bass.. you are not going to get you want, it still lacks bass..

You will only achieve mid-bass. Lower ends of the bass spectrum, such as 40 and below hertz can not be acheived without a sub.

I currently use an infinity basslink....if you are worried about space. For a 10" self amplified sub....its pretty nice. Very decent bass in the Z...enough for me at least...and it does not take very much room up AT ALL. Might be something you want to check out.

If you absolutely don't want to mount any sub whatsoever, try using the rears as mid-bass, crossed over very low..CDT HD62's will surprise you for their size, have a good freq response, they fit in the rear mount holes and are closer to 7" spkrs.
