Can anyone tell me the sizes of all the speakers on the car (don't have my car yet). I know the sub is 10". I've been reading about the crappy sound of the Bose, so i headed down to a dealer to listen to them..they are disappointing! The base is loose and weak, and the highs are non-existing. I plan to change the WHOLE system (ridiculous, since i paid for a premium sys.) Also, i'm not too familiar with car audios, so, i would like some suggestions as far as speakers, head units, and amps. I'm most interested in sound quality w/some pop...how about nakamichi?
I can't wait for my car to get here...january 22!!.. hopefully

Here you go, I hope htis helps:

Front door speakers -- 6.5" (door panels must be removed)
Front pod tweeters -- .75" (I heard 1" will fit in the pods, but have not tried)
Rear speakers -- 6.5" (entire area behind seats and trunk must be disassembled to replace these)
Sub -- 10" (this area is large, but unsealed)

All of the factory Bose/Clarion speakers are paper coned cheap-o's--I would say every speaker in the car, all together, is not worth more than $75 total. I personally feel the head unit is decent quality, even though it only hass bass and treble controls. However, the amps are small/weak (possibly because they are class D ?), the audio pilot is not defeatable/does not work properly, and the speakers just suck in general.
