Looking to upgrade my stock non-bose system. I want to get a mp3 hard drive. Kenwood has the music keg and SSI has the Neo car jukebox. I could go with a kenwood cd receiver that would be compatible with either mp3 unit (the neo has a direct connect to some kenwood and pioneer units) or a pioneer cd\receiver if I decide on the neo only. I am having difficulty choosing the receiver and the mp3 player. Here are my thoughts:

Kenwood receiver pros:
black/charcoal fininsh will better match the interior
has a variable color display which can be customized to 67 colors which will match the amber lighting
assuming will have less problems working in conjunction with music keg.

cons:
If I wanted to get satelite radio in the future kenwood is compatable with sirius. IMO xm is better?

Pioneer pros:
is xm compatable

cons:
only thing that bugs me is the more silvery finnish and the blue display and green lighted buttons

Kenwood music keg pros:
plays music files other than mp3
smaller hard drive unit for portability
Kenwood name brand

cons:
price

Neo pros:
price
can install voice chip that will annonce the song to be played (sounds cool)
has usb2 port for faster downloads
can connect to home stereo

cons:
only plays mp3 files
not familiar with ssi

I might be thinking this over too much (lord known my wife thinks so) but I just want to get it right.

Since I am not an adiophile I could use your opinions. Does anyone have either of these mp3 players? Am I being ridiculous with the head unit color display?
