I have heard my friend talkin about a 8" touch screen made by Kenwood. I have tried lookin on many sites, but still have not found it. Has anybody heard about this or seen it? If so, could you please tell me where I could find it?

I have one in my Cadillac Escalade. It's touch screen, so you can use Kenwood's DVD navigation unit with it. Beautiful screen.

Honestly, I don't know of any comparable screens. It's got touchscreen which is unique in the car audio business. Kenwood sells at 7" touchscreen that I would like to put in my 350z (once I sell the Cadillac of course ;-)

 

Here is one. The question is how to make it fit. With the case, it is a bit big for the existing dash set up.

I like the fact that it has touchscreen functionality with the navigation system.

 

At CES, Kenwood had a 350z with the 8" screen in the dash. HOWEVER, the center console was custom molded out of fiberglass, so it just didn't "slip" into the stock screen area. If you want touchscreen, check out the 7" Kenwood screen it will do the job for you and should fit in the stock location (I'm not completely sure on that claim though).

 

I should be getting the 7" touch screen from xenarc next week. I will let you know how it fit's, if it fit's and how much mods you will have to do.


I just hope it comes in before next Friday as I will be off to New Orleans for Marti Gras for a week
