If you are looking too save some cash I believe that Pyle makes an affordable one. lookin at about $125.00 for a 7" screen or so. I saw one installed in a 03' Z and looked to me that it fit just right. I understand Pyle isn't a premium brand but it's just a suggestion.

I just installed my monitor this weekend. I went with the Farenheit T-7000MHR and it fits like it's from the factory.

I got my monitor from here > http://www.millionbuy.com/fart7000mhr.html

@uly's350Z - Cost was basically the price of the monitor ($140 shipped) and 30 minutes of my time (the install was extremely easy). I also installed the Headunit/DVD player (JVC KD-ADV6160, which I don't recommend btw..) at the same time. If you don't have an aftermarket head unit that plays DVD's you will need one of those also (as well as the dash kit/wiring harness). If you have any more questions just ask, or feel free to PM me.

EJC

EDIT: @Sexy350zStud03 - Sorry I hijacked the thread. I'll look around for a screen that meets your supplied specs (I don't know of any off hand).

@uly's350Z - I think I remember seeing someone on here had a DVD player with a built in RF modulator (tune the stock deck to a radio frequency to hear audio from DVD's) and kept the stock deck.

Found the thread - https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....d+rf+modulator

NOTE: I said in my post above that I don't recommend the JVC KD-ADV160, this is due to a fitment issue (the volume button hits the dash kit when you swing the face down).

Do you think it is because of the kit..

I have the dv5100 but am thinking about the ADV6160 because of the sub controlls and couple of other features... Just curious what your take on this is?

thanks

The unit seems to be sunken back by 1/4" to 1/2", my Clarion DXZ635MP fit like a glove. There may be a way to mod it to bring the unit forward a little, I'm going to look into this when I get some spare time. I may also get the American International kit (people seem to have better luck with it). The preamp outs for F,R,Sub are why I chose the ADV6160 over the dv5100, overall the 6160 is a nice little unit (especially for the price).

ya the farenheit t-7001mhr has 2 video inputs and one video output. They are hard to find. I just got one off of ebay brand new for 150 shipped but somebody just won one for $96 plus $25 shipping.
