Default Component Vs. Coaxial speakers?

I was wondering what the differences are between component speakers and coaxial speakers. over my christmas break im probably going to completely redo my sound system (AGAIN, just like every christmas lol). I bought 4 phoenix gold coax speakers just because they were a good price, but may end up just using 2 if component speakers are a must.

Thanks
Alex

The components with their external seperate tweeters allow you to put them up high where they're easier to hear. The mid-woofers are down lower where they're easier to mount. If you mount the tweeter down low your legs and pants will alter the sound as they move.

IMO components always sound better than 2-ways.
