Have you checked your fuses (in cabin and under the hood) to make sure that none of them have blown?

Have a look at fuseable link 40A which is just forward of the battery under the hood. It's in the back, closest to the battery, and just to the centerline of middle in at that back row of junk. You'd have had to do something really bad to blow this thing (welding/big sparks)

The fuse is a 10A fuse number 1 located in the J/B fuse box which again is under the hood above to the body control module in the driver's side kick panel. It's more that likely you popped this guy (smaller sparks).

Fogot to add. Try using the key in the outside door lock to see if you can get the windows to move. Put the steel key in the lock and twist to "lock" the door and hold it there for two seconds - the windows should roll up. Twisting the key to "unlock" the door and holding it against the spring for two seconds should cause the door to roll down.

This technique will by-pass the switches in the door if they were bad.

went downstairs to try this and on the way i held down the unlock button on the key fob to auto roll down the windows while i was walking down the stairs. well i got in the car and rolled the windows back up adn they went all the way back up. i then opened and closed the door a couple of times and each time the windown lowered and raised as it should.
thakns for the replies everyone. knew i could count on ya'll.
