I'm thinking of getting the XM2Go kit with some money from Christmas. 2 questions: 1. Can it plug into the OEM (non-Bose) HU or do I need to get another HU as well? 2. Best mounting location that doesn't block the road? I'd love for it to fit in the Nav location but it will only fit sideways. Any ideas?

i installed mine right ito the cup holder.

i have the delphi MX2Go unit with a roof mounted antennae and it just sitting snugly in the cup holder that pops out.

 

Details on how you ran the wiring? Did you direct connect it to your HU? Or use the FM modulator?

 

I put mine in the cup holder too, fits perfectly. I just need to get around to making the wiring more permanent. I'd also like to use the line out to the back of the radio instead of to the cassette.

 

i used the tape deck! and ran the wires under the center.

 

Can I see a picture of that?
