I have seen tons of threads on V1 stealth installs, but haven't seen any of 8500's. Has anyone here done this? If so, could you post some pics, because I am trying to figure out ways to do mine.

Not really stealth, i just have it mounted under the rear view mirror.
However, people RARELY notice I have it there for some reason.

Then again, you are in Virginia, radar detectors aren't allowed there huh?

 

yeah, that is why I want to hide the thing...hehe. I like the way people have done the V1 on the rear hatch, but I am not sure the escort will work there.

 

I saw a pretty stealth install with the 8500 that a guy in this forum had. Keep looking it is in here somewhere. the Search key is your friend. I believe he was from Virginia also.
