Hands Free Bluetooth - Random Question
OK, I have a question that I have been unable to get answered by Pioneer or Sony Ericsson, so my350z.com is my last resort! OK, here goes. I am going to be using a Pioneer FHP5000MP, a Sony Ericsson HCB-30 Bluetooth Kit, and a Treo 650. The hands-free bluetooth kit supposedly comes with a "stereo-mute" cable, which I imagine does what it says - however I can't figure out if I need any additional cables or equipment to have the telephone's audio play through the car stereo speakers instead of the crummy little external speaker box that comes with the kit. To make matters more confusing, I just read a line on the amazon.com description that says the following:
Compatible with the car stereo, so you can hear calls through your car speakers
Problem is, the bluetooth kit is long discontinued, and there is little information available. Anyone have experience with these things? I just want to make sure my installer doesn't get half way through the job and then say that he needs some kind of cable or adapter that I don't have, and that he can't do the whole job. My head unit is below.
