It would require some getting use too, but I like my view un-obstructed! I have too many things to worry about on the road than some gauge images on the windshield. ...Good luck!

I had HUD on my Corvette. In my opinion, there is nothing like it...Keeps you from looking down to check speed, rps, fuel level, etc...

Here's a pic...not sayin' it's me but you get the idea...

i have it on my other car, grand prix gtx...It is pretty sweet to be on the highway and be able to see your info and not have to look anywhere but the road. You also get used to it pretty quick. At first it was kinda annoying but now I wish every car came with it

I too wish HUD was available for our Z cars. Of course Nissan figures the demand for this type of system is not high enough to develop it. FLIR or night vision capability would be cool too. ;o)

CRAP!!! Forgot that the S13's did have HUD at one time ... I suppose that other cars in Nissan's vehicle line-up at that time had it available as an option as well.

I think you could spend your money better than on that Plasmaglow HUD unit. $319 for something that just displays RPM and a built-in shift light??? Come on, get real. All in all it's just a novelty item.

That's killer. My speedometer is already obsolete (I use the trip-meter computer thing to display it) and this would be cool.
