I can't tell if you are trying to side with Mike here, but it has nothing to do with me not being happy with the product. It's not like the product performed poorly. The point is that the product was not finished and therefore was not even able to perform. As i've said a hundred times, the box is the wrong size for my sub, the amp rack is the wrong size for my xbox and amps...and that's besides the fact that he used the wrong wood, forgot the teriminal, didnt finish vinyling, and forgot to seal the box.

There are so many things wrong with this whole transaction that i couldn't count them all on my fingers and toes.

zcar i said it earlier, you are a disgrace to car caudio installers all over the world, how can you think that that box was of any quality? I would like to hear your reasoning behind your decision to make a box mad of crap and to use wrong building materials, there are reasons why people dont make airplanes out of hay...You could of AT LEAST used the right wood, sealed the box neatly, and for gods sake had your ****ing dimensions correct!!

zcar03...as a business owner myself, i think the best course of action right now is offer a FULL refund, and formally apologize. take the loss of money nad face, but the longer this drags on, the more damage its going to do to your image, and to us installers, image and reputation means ALOT more than face and money.

just my two cents

First off, i could give a **** less about either of ya, i dont play the SIDE game.. I dont know this guy or u..

Im simple stating SOP's ive experienced with actual companies. My personal opinion about this ordeal from what ive read.. I think it would of been professional of you to settle this issue behind closed doors and at least give him a chance to rectify the issue and prove himself. And if he refused to settle or make amends, THEN throw him under the bus publicly. I think it was childish to wrong someone in public, until ALL other avenues were used in resolving this issue. From what ive seen he's acted in good faith to resolve the issue, even offered to rebuild a brand new box, post pic's and allow u to KEEP the original.. I mean ****, if i was this guy, i would of told u to go *** yourself after calling me out in public without giving me a chance to right the wrongs..

Do as you do man, but fight this battle yourself, like an adult. It seems to me your trying to rally a bandwagon in order to fight your battle for u, or else your would of tried in settling this issue privately first.

Obviously you either didnt follow all my postings or you are his friend in real life.

I contacted him immediately after i opened the box and saw how wrong everything was, i argued with him on the phone for 15 minutes and he was unreasonable, wouldn't budge in offering me any kind of reasonable refund.

If he gave me a bad product and a bad refund policy the first thing i do is let everyone else that may be considering buying from him know that he is offering a bad product and has bad business practices.

Ive read this post since post #1.. but playing the devils advocate, how do we (the Z community) know if your telling the truth, or he is. So why should I ASSUME, based upon what YOU say that "he was unreasonable" in dealing with this matter on the phone. I also read what he said, and he publicly said whats already previously mentioned. Simple..

Grow up.. I dont know this kid, YES i live in the same state, but ive never met him, nor have i seen his work before. Just like i havent met you.. Why would you care if i was on "his" side or yours? Is that what you after, moral support? Someone's hand? Dude, like i said, fight your own battles. His work could be poor or royally suck, but i would rather give someone the benefit of the doubt and give someone a chance to make a best effort in making the right step towards good resolution.
